Leaking carb

I'm making progress but have a leak that I cannot seem to fix. It's a HH100 Tecumseh carb. I've replaced the bowl gasket and put in a new drain spring and gasket. I'm still leaking and it looks like it's leaking down the center where the needle valve spring adjustment is. I've replaced the gaskets on both the inside and outside of the bowl where the valve screws in. Could the valve need replacement or I'm possibly missing a gasket somewhere else? Any help greatly appreciated.

You Shouldn't have a gasket on the inside of the bowl on the load jet. JDPARTS.Com doesn't show one there.

Yep only has a fiber type gasket on the outside of the bowl and a little metal washer over that.

Also there is a rubber packing around the main jet needle. It could be leaking. Damaged by carb cleaner?

After looking online, it"s the high speed mixture screw, not a needle valve. I see in a photo there"s a o-ring on the mixture screw, thinking that might be my source for the leak. Also went out and checked the carb again, it"s a Walbro LME-37

Like the others have said, your leak may be a damaged o-ring on the mixture screw. There should be a washer between it and the spring, so the spring will not damage the o-ring.

The smallest o-ring in some universal o-ring kits will probably work, if you can't find one any other way. It als is (or was) in the largest carburetor kit that Tecumseh made, but I forget the part number.

Think I may have solved it. Removed the screw/spring and found that the O-ring was basically gone, little pieces. Local hardware had bin full of O-rings, found the smallest one there and it seems to have stopped the leak. Thanks for all the information and help!!
