Robert is correct,tractor is a tiger tractor,I had one of the 8hp versions(56)for over 35 yrs a real brute,you could run at just above idle with a plow blade & barely start to labor eng.

Do a google search for tiger tractor some pics posted & a small website dedicated to tractor,wish website was around yrs ago as I had to modify different brands of existing used implements to fit tractor.

There was at least one article and perhaps two about the line of Tiger Tractors in Lawn and Garden Tractor Collector Magazine. They may still have some back issues with those articles that you can purchase. Check with them first and see if that works out or not.

Thanks for the reply Tom,calcubman may be interested in info,I scraped my tractor about 5 yrs ago,in hindsite I wonder if it was a wise decision as I miss it from time to time as the wheel horse sometimes struggles on some jobs where the tiger just kept going.
