I am looking for a governor for a John Deere 400 garden tractor. Any help would be appreciated, my flyweights in mine dissintigrated.

There"s a couple on ebay starting @ $30.

Search for "K532 governor".

I have a new one on the shelf, I bought before my 400 threw a rod, (which I plan to keep) and the used one on the blown engine that was functioning OK, bu the breaker point cam is worn. Don"t know how bad yours is busted up... if there"s be enough goof parts in mine to fix it up.

Thank you, I think mine is beyond repair, it toohas a rounded lobe for the points. It sure went in a hurry! Plus 3 of the 4 flyweights are broken.
