What is the difference between the PowerKings (Economy's) with 24 inch rear wheels versus 16 inch rear wheels.

Do you just change the front and rear rims/tires or is their something else

The 24" wheels on the rear of the tractor are 5 hole same wheel as used on the Farmall Cub, and the front wheel spindles are about 2" longer. The front wheels are the same on both tractors. The 16 inch wheels are 6 hole wheels and I have yet to find a wheel that fits except one off a Case garden tractor with 16" wheels. There is also a Power King Jim Dandy which has 16" wheels on the rear but different wheels and spindles on the front a physically smaller tractor but not much.
Here's a picture of my 16 14 Power King 1978 16"
wheels and 14HP engine. The 2414 is in the shop in pieces.

I have both and I like the 16XX series better. The 16"s set lower so they are a little easier to get on. Also its easier/cheaper to get tire chains for the 16 inch tires. I got a brand new pair of bar link chains that were designed for a pickup. The guy had them in his shop for 30 years and was going to throw them out so he gave them to me. Front wheel weights from lots of farm tractors fit the rear wheels and can be bought at auctions for $25 or less. Everyone wants the large rear wheel weights for farm tractors and the front weights are usually cheap.
