I have a trailer load of garden tractors I would like to sell, where is the best garden tractor swap meet or show that I guy could go to from Oklahoma and stand a good chance of selling this stuff. Thanks

Portland, Indiana

There will be a show sometime in March and then another one in the fall. The dates have not been announced as of yet that I can find.

Just Google "portland indiana garden tractor show"

It's a 13 hour drive.....but you asked for the best show, didn't you? LOL

Yes I did! Thanks alot I had thought maybe the Evansville Indiana one was the best, keep in mind I have never attended on anywhere, just antique tractor shows, anyway thanks alot

Tha spring swap meat at Portland, Indiana is around the 15th of May.
The show at Evansville, Ind. is in the first of Yune.

Portland is yust aboot 200 miles north of Evansville, You shood do vell in selling your garden tractors.
Vhat kind do yo have to sell?

I have a Allis B-1 with tiller, a B10, B110, Big Ten, allis 616, Case 120 and an old ford, it has parts missing but has a deck and rear end tranny etc. Some of them the motors are free but not running. I am trying to get rid of them all at once asking $1300 for all, I am trying to buy a IH I think its a 382 I will through in for $1500

I think that your asking price seems reasonable enough that you MIGHT find a buyer for the package. But that person would likely want to either resell them individually or.....GASP.... part them out on e-Bay.

I realize that time is of the essence for you in order to make this other deal but you don't exactly live in the hot-bed area for garden tractor enthusiasts. Shipping is always a huge deal killer. I think that your best bet is to take them to the Portland show but I'm sure that you already realize that it will be costly to do so. Fuel, lodging, food etc will eat into your profits quickly. Why not try listing them on Craigslist in some of the adjoining states and see what happens.

Offer them individually and price them accordingly with good photos and an excellent, truthful description. Personally, I think that any garden tractor that is complete and not rusted out or all bent up should bring at least $300.00 and possibly more. Everything you list is collectible. Try to sell them NOW from where you live.

Good Luck.

There used to be a show/swap meet at Dyersville Iowa, called Little G , I think. Went to it 10 or 15 years ago, nice show, lots of stuff. Must be closer than Indiana.

The Little G show came to an end in 2011. Apparently the promoter had health problems. It was moved to Brodhead, WI for 2012 but I don't know if a 2013 show was held.
