I have an old 14 horse mtd garden tractor with a factory built Minneapolis loader on it. The loader has a manure bucket, a snow bucket , and a dirt bucket. The tractor is a hydro with high and low speeds. It also has a three point hitch. It runs but needs a head gasket which I have . I was wondering if some one could tell me what it is worth ballpark. Thanks

Without photos, it is difficult to determine a whole lot of things, all of which would affect the value. Generally speaking, a running tractor with a factory-built loader should bring at least $500.00 at minimum.

If this turns out to be a MTD 990/Farm King/Dayton that is in really decent shape, then it could easily bring more. Keep in mind that location, location, location really matters also. It costs money to retrieve a tractor but if local demand is high, then a good machine will often bring a higher price.

Remember that the loader alone in almost any condition is worth more than $500 because there are not many and new usually costs more than $3000.

The loader will bring 1000.00 by itself, the guys with JDs love them. I think it will bring 1800.00 and ask 2100.00.(running and looking good)
