john deere 140 3lever hydro

ok, guys here's the info. on the 140 3 lever hydro that will not move, or deck will not lower or raise. type to583 serial 033332m. i removed the fender/seat/foot rest cover, started engine and the input shaft and rear output shaft w/cooling fan are both spinning. nothing happens with the hydrostat lever or deck lift lever. ideas??? thanking you in advance, happy

If in fact nothing happens with the deck lift lever, it says the charge pump is not working. That could also affect the hydro as it supplies charge oil to the hydro. When hydro leaks off then no more oil so no move.

What is trans oil level?

Maybe a sheared key on the "transmission gear motor" which I think is the charge pump on this old transmission.

Any of the above could be wrong info. My best shot.

There's a drive pin in the charge pump that has been known to shear. Or the "gerotor" pump may have otherwise failed. Pin is Key #6 in the drawing, DEERE part #M45395. Might as well pick up "O" ring #M45375 and shaft seal #M45400, if you tear into it.
