What hydro oil for '69 Wheel Horse Charger?

There is a label under the seat that says "Type A", but the closest thing I can find is at NAPA called Type FA.

Would appreciate your help.

Well, "type A" became "DEXRON". NOT sure what the origunal DEXRON has become lately, though!

I've been useing dexronlll/mercon atf in my 67 1277 & 69 charger for about 4 yrs without any problems,I bought the tech brand atf at walmart.

in the day we used dextron or to improve drive quality 10w40 was used today the latest and greatest is toro hyper oil everyone has gone away from atf and reg motor oils due to considerations for emisions today in the blending process so there blending specific for the process.
