Howdy,
Two of my machines have started blowing blue smoke on cold start, one has a 11.5 flat head Briggs, the other a 15HP OHV Briggs. They have been starting and running good up untill the cold weather. It seems the more choke I have to use the more they smoke, it"s blue smoke NOT black, when I can back off the choke the smoking stops. One is a lawn mower and I may have to use it one more time this year, not a big problem I guess, the other (ST10) I want to put a plow on to dress up the driveway after plowing snow. I have not switched to 5w30 oil yet, any thoughts?
Thanks
Bob S.
