It's either a S-14 or S-18 (New Holland). It has been shedded for years. It probably runs. It is a garden type sized tractor. Any idea on value? It would need some tuning up I imagine.

It could be either an S-12 or S-14. S-14 was the largest that NH built. They were a good tractor but.....the steering could be very loose due to bushing wear and the PTO used sealed needle bearings that were prone to failure. I replaced my bearings with oil less bronze bushings and they served me well for several years. They also used a hydro unit from Sperry Rand. At that time, they were owned by Sperry.

I have a S-12 and a S-14 New Holland.
I have been trying to sell them, they run good and fair paint.
I'm asking $450.00 each.
As for how much they are worth, it depends on how much one is willing to pay.

Other than possibly needing to clean the fuel system and a tune up, which is to be expected, check the tires. if they still hold air you are probably OK, but if any are flat, inflate them and make sure they hold air. I bought a riding lawn mower a few years ago, shedded, great looking paint.Got carried way in the bidding frenzy and paid $110.00 for it. Got it home, it smoked like a coal burning freight train, all four tires were so badly cracked from sitting flat that none would hold air. I had to chalk that one up to a bad case of the Dumbaxx.
