Thanks guys!
The coil is good. Have a strong blue spark. I think the spark problem was the points that I actually found be accident when checking what I thought was a ground out stop switch. I partially assembled to check for spark this afternoon and only had a weak yellow spark. I decided to check the point gap and found it not only wide but wet. I have been spraying purple power mixed with water to clean it up which caused it. Set the points, dried every thing off good and walla bright blue spark. No fuel here so I removed the carburetor and it was as clean thru out as a new one. I put the plug back in and turned it over a few times and I have compression. I had filled the cylinder with light oil and let it set. Most had seeped thru but it must had freed up the rings some. I filled it back up with oil and we will see what I have Monday when I bring a little fuel to work. I still may pull the piston out and check the gap before I put it back in the Grand Haven. I at least now know how the coil works. I thought I was probly in for a few hard to find parts.
I had the intake tube off to clean the out side good and looked in a the port and see how ruff it was sooo I polished the intake port.
