just wanted to know value of these lo-boys. and how plentiful they are. yellow and white color and looks like around 1970 model? turf tires.

They made over 33,000 of them. Price here in IL. good condition with mower deck $900-1,400 three point and creeper gear add more money. I have a few just cant beat them for cutting grass.

put a deck on it that's as wide as the tractor, and it'll overheat, in tall grass. Kind of a poor specimen, if you ask me, around here, $1100 average, maybe less since the coming of bho.

The tiller means it should have the creeper gear. I think they are fine tractors just not the kind I want.(There are a lot of them I do not want)

Check the steering for excessive play. Most of them that I've seen have very loose steering.

I used my 154 wed. to cut 4 acres in 97 degree heat it ran fine and did not over heat.It has a woods 60" deck that is bigger then the tractor.

I cut 5 acres once a week with mine that has a 60" mower. Never overheated in over twenty years. However it is serviced regularly.
By-the-way--I don't BUSHHOG with mine, it's not made for that.
Mine looks like it is 3 years old and if I sold it, I would ask about $2,000.
