The original subject was "Re: Roof Mower Co.".

Gary, I'm looking to restore a sulky cart that I have and need pictures and info on paint color and decals ( close up picture so I can have one made and where they go. Mine still has original paint but is faded bad and I don't see and decals.
Thanks,
Dennis

I couldn't locate a picture of the sulky. Here's one of the mower. Paint color maybe the same as the mower. Hal

Yea,..It seems to be almost Allis orange. Looks to me the walk behinds were more orange and the riders were more of a red color. Thanks for the help and if you know anybody that has any good pictures of the sulky let me know.

Am looking for a brochure I have of the Roof color but I know that the color was a red thru their entire line. I can take a picture of mine but with the difference in monitors you probably wouldn"t still acheive an exact match. I think my weed mower has the decal intact. I will check in the next couple days. Gary

I have one of those roof mowers and they mow like crazy if you can hold on. I have the sulkey which is straight forward.20 in bicycle tubes on a heavy duty rim with a tractor seat on a spring bar and straight axel. Ill try to post a picture in a couple of days There are not to many of these around and ive ben trying to get it back together for several years. I had a honda 8 on it and it mowed fine. Fun to ride

Thanks Gary,..would like to see a picture of your sulky to see where the decal goes and so far you are the only one besides me that has one. I put a post on simpletractors where I am a member and have had no luck at all.
Thanks for your time,
Dennis

This is the one I would like to restore back to original. Going to pull wife around shows with it. Bought it at a sale not knowing what make it was. Thought when I bought it it might be a Gravely,..glad its a Roof seems to be much more rare to find.

PPG's red paint code 71310 may be close to the red used. I used it on my Troy Bilt tiller about 7 years ago. It was their Omni brand. I also used their hardener and thinner. Hal
