how much would a JD 318 garden tractor be worth with no motor?

I bought a 317 with a blown engine for $400. The 318 was basicly the same tractor.

Where are you located?
What engine did it used to have? Onan or Kohler?
Does it have hydraulic connections?
Does it have attachments?

Scrap value is $200 for 2000 pounds. The 318 I worked on must weigh atleast 600#s. Atleast $60 for scrap.

I would pay $200 sight unseen if it had an engine I could replace easily and is mostly complete. Hydraulic connections would be a bonus.

You could probably part it out on Ebay for more than $600 but that takes a lot of time and effort.

I can t get 1100.00 for one that runs good. I would think you are in the 200.00 to 300.00 range, just depends on the seat, tires, and if the deck need to be welded up.
