Cub Cadet 124 Decal Placement

I am working on a 124 and bought a decal kit from
Maple Hunter. With it came a dash decal to replace
the sheet metal dash plate. My question is, should
I put the decal on the fiberglass dash itself or on
the sheet metal plate? I can see advantages to both
but welcome suggestions.

For me, it would depend on how good of shape the original Dash Tin was.

Depends.

I know on my 125 I put it on the fiberglass. The "tin" cover it had was stamped with a pattern so you couldn't recover it.

I would try to put it on the tin panel if possible
