Wheel Horse 244-5 STILL won't crank with key

Update on what I have done and what I have found.

Jumped to the tab on the solenoid and it engages the solenoid and spins the engine. So it is not the starter or solenoid.

Checked the ignition switch with a multitester.
Have power to the switch 12v and when turned, have 12 v throught the switch in all positions.

Have power to both sides of 2 bottom fuses and the top fuse has power when the ign. switch is turned on and when the start position is triggered on the switch.

Can't see inside the relays, so where else in the circuit can the current be stopped? Seat safety swith is disconnected and it ran this way last summer. Don't see any loose or broken wires. The blue wire carries the current to the solenoid tab...where does it originate in the junction block? Or where could it be open?

This problem occurred while it was sitting over the winter.

Help please. Electrical intrigue and mystery are is my favorite pastime.

You should look for a wire that goes from your switch to your solenoid. Usually when you make an attempt to start either by twisting a key or pushing a starter button voltage is fed to your solenoid causing the bendix drive to engage your ring gear on your flywheel. You should only have voltage to your solenoid when making a start.
Check for a wire from your switch to your solenoid
have a helper to make an attempt to crank over the engine once you find the wire. Use your volt meter to check for voltage when the helper try's to crank over the engine. If there no voltage you may have a broken wire between the switch and solenoid. You're bypassing your starter switch when you jumper the solenoid. Run a separate wire from your battery to where your wire from the
switch is connected and just touch it to see if the engine cranks. Hal

Thanks for the help. Unfortunately, the crank wire from the starter switch goes thru a very complex junction box with fuses and (and relays?) and changes color so I am unable to trace the wire inside the junction box.
Can I run a wire directly from the crank terminal of the starter switch to the tab of the solenoid to energize the starter? I realize that that would override the safety mechanizims, But I have few safety switches on my MF50 and 65, and get along ok.

Also, any idea where I can get a carburetor bowl for this tractor, parts tree does not have any?

Many thanks
