Briggs Stratton 19.5 Gold engine??

Hi I have been looking for a cheap riding mower and seen one at Sears for $1499.00 with a Briggs & Stratton 19.5 Gold engine. Price is in line for a cheap mower here in Ontario compared to Canadian Tire and other box stores. I know nothing about them engines though, if they are any good or not. Can anybody give me comments about them or anything better in same price range?

I have a Sears (Craftsman) LT-2000 42" rider that is now 3 years old. The engine is a B&S "Gold Edition" advertised at 20 hp. So far I have had no engine problems. It's basically the same mower as Yard Machine, Troy Bilt, White, & Cub Cadet. Made by MTD. I prefer the drive train on AYP machines, but this one was given to me, so I don't complain.

Briggs Stratton 19.5 Gold engine??
