JD188 powered bagger

I just purchased an older JD188 with a powered dual bagger attachment. I am unsure of the belt routing for bagger. It drives off the deck belts but has a strange turn to get the power to the blower...any pictures or manual pages would be GREATLY appreciated...also looking for a hood and ignition switch (I am tired of using a screwdriver to start it) thanks!

That belt has a couple twists in it. you"re pretty close.

keep in mind, the 2 idlers. the V groove one gets the V side of the belt in it, the flat idler gets the flat side against it. then just twist the belt so its on the other two pulleys and spins the blower the proper direction.

Its hard for me to explain, but I"ve done so many, my hands know how to do it easily. my brain isn"t quite as good at it lol.

Well other than the belt being upside down on your lower idler pulley and the fact that, your tension spring is missing, all looks well.
Remember that power flow blower belts have a twist to them.

Thanks for the replies...when I bought this the bagger had not been installed for a few years and my son did it as best as he could figure out.
Where would the tension spring connect? He has one that connects to the the top of that gold plated eyebolt in the picture, and it goes back and connects on the tube of the blower itself...not sure if this is correct or not..that pulls the bottom idler pulley back slightly

you have a quick tach or "qt" power flow blower
The spring you need is number 18 and you have the hook style connector #15 (in the box)
