John Deere 216

I just bought a John Deere 216 lawn mower from a guy who was the 2nd. owner.
Now I'm needing a manual for it and some information as to what year the tractor was made, the Serial No, below the steering wheel is,.....
C216H 098527M

Any help would be appreciated.
