Hello,
Just purchased a Simplicity 5216 lawn tractor with a
hydrostatic transmission. The tractor is in great
shape but the oil in the differential and hydrostat
look dark so I would like to change them. The manual
calls for Simplicity multipurpose hydraulic oil but
I was wondering if standard hydraulic oil would work
in these systems or would cause problems. Thanks in
advance for any advice.
