Question for Tom Arnold

I posted a question a while back about a hydraulic pump for 444. I bought a D27AA2A but the shaft is 1/2 inch. My old one is 5/8. Do I take the pump back? Is the pump volume OK? Is there another coupler that will adapt to the engine?

I'm not Tom, but you can purchase just the pump half for the coupler and install the pump. I get mine from Mcmaster-carr.

As Ken has already stated, the correct coupler half can be had from McMaster but you should replace the spider at the same time.

The D27 pump is .61 cubic inches in size and will pump 9 1/2 GPM @ 3600 RPM and zero PSI. It it the largest AA pump made that I am aware of and Case used it because of space constraints. I have recommended this pump to about 20 people and everyone is quite happy with it.
