Friend is restoring a Bolens 1250 tractor! Some questions??

A good friend is restoring a Bolens 1250 garden tractor. He is needing a few parts. I have found Sam's Bolens in Crown Point Indiana. I also have heard of Sonny's Parts in Portland , Indiana too. One of these guys does not have a very good reputation which one is it?? We do not want a hassle in dealing with either of them.

The main parts he needs right now are a Brake Disk/rotor part # 1719538 and a complete decal set.

So what do you guy recommend???
 
Sonny"s is out-of-business, and that is the place with the bad rep.

I'm a "Bolens guy", and a member there.

I've met, and done business with, both Bob and Rick. They are great to work with and fair on their prices.

I've only done business with Sam on the phone, and while he usually has the part(s) you are looking for, he's "right proud" of them and is almost always priced higher than Bob & Rick. I usually only deal with him if there's no other choice. He is pleasant to talk to so that's not the issue, just his prices.

For decals, this is your best bet. Very good quality and correct colors.

Here's another source that is a bit cheaper, but some of their decals are a bit 'off' on the colors. Nothing REALLY bad, but depending in how 'correct' he want's the tractor to be, that could be an issue.
