I need an engine for my Ford LGT145.Will the engine from a tractor with an oil pan that is part of the frame work if I get a separate pan & if so, which one( part number)?

Any K-321 AS engine will fit the pan on your Ford but that is only one consideration. The other one is the diameter and length of the crankshaft output stub because the engines in Fords are usually cross-mounted and the stub must support a drive pulley and an electric PTO clutch.

some of the 321s have bolt bosses on the block and some dont. The ones without use the oil pan to mount the engine

A LGT145 will be shaft driven with a electric PTO clutch up at the front. Just be sure on the crank size. Either 1" or 1 1/8" if I remember correctly.
