Delaware doesn't have any sales tax. The Dupont's put so much money into the economy they don't need it. MD has a deal now with DE and other states to collect their 6% sales tax. They even have road runners for a better word out looking for cars coming back into MD that may have bought items in DE. My nephew was stopped when they saw a reclining chair in his truck. He had the chair repaired in DE and had a receipt to show them. He didn't tell them it was originally bought in DE. In 2003 I bought 4 Troy Bilt generators from Lowe's in DE. We had a power outage for over a week and generators were scarce and I sold 3 of them. I kept the last generator and had to go to Dover to get it. It was bought and returned to Lowe's when it would run for 30 seconds and quit. The fuel line was crimped shut behind the gas tank. I only had $200.00 in it. Hal PS: They were 7550 watt generators.
