New Holland Mower deck spindle

I need a center spindle for a 60" New Holland mower deck made in the 90's and the NH dealer says in is NLA. (Part # SBA613460310)

Doesn't seem right for a mower made in the 90's!

Anybody got one?

Key #1 in the diagram.

Presumably, the dealer is telling you the truth. All he can do is go by what his computer screen shows him.

My suggestion is this. Go to Case/New Holland's website and pull down their list of dealers. Start at the top and begin phoning them in sequence. Give the parts guy the part number. He can tell you if he has one in stock or not. If he does, then give him your credit card info and have him ship it to you.

If no dealer has one, then barring finding a good used one, have a machine shop make one.

Manufacturers are required to have parts available for six years after they stop making items that use those parts.

Dealer can check other dealers" inventory plus an obsolete parts place or two and says there are officially none in captivity.

If there's none available, do as Tom suggested and have one made. I had a fan shroud made at a local AC shop that were making ductwork. The young man said to come back in an hour. It fit like a glove cost $10.00. It was a Standardtwin garden tractor. Hal

That sucker ain't gonna cost $10.00 to have made! I can actually make the darned thing myself if I need to but I would rather buy one ready to go. New Holland SUCKS for not having a part for a mower this new available!

I got a brand new LS55(? I think) 60" deck with mounting hardware and belts I"ll sell you, cast sindles blades and all. Toro made/supplied NH mowers if you cross to the toro machine model of the mower you have, I guarantee you that toro has that spindle, NH and toro"s relationship went sour and everything including parts support got dropped

This is the cnh way of doing business run a year or two then change ,thay seem to go after the fast buck .there is a lot of equipment thay dont have replacement parts for ,and if you ask why thay dont care,or tha have two parts change or improved up date JUNK

Here"s a picture of the ID tag on the mower deck.

Says "made in Japan", does this combined with the spindle part # starting with "SBA" possibly mean Shibaura built the deck? (Part # SBA613460310)

(In one of the earlier replies someone thought it woulf be a Toro deck, or did Toro use Japanese decks, as well?)

That is not a Toro deck, the only decks that NH bought from Toro was the 42 and 48 inch off the 260 series Toro mowers and the NH part number will have the actual Toro part number in it.

Do you know if Shibaura make the Japanese made decks? Do they have any distribution/source of parts in the US?
