Bolens H16XL diagram

Tried using it today to plow the snow. Never made it 5 feet. There is a whining noise from the pump. Also whines when I try to lift blade.

The fan was turning but not sure if the pump was.

Are there splines, a keyway or a bolt on the pump input shaft?

I know someone has posted a good site for diagrams. I thought I had a hard copy but unable to find it at the moment.
 
Found my diagram on the hard drive.

Looks like it had all three options:
Splined
Keyed
Roll Pin.

I will have to look at it and find out eyes on tomorrow. Crossing fingers hoping it is a roll pin....
 
the one i worked on was splined an the splines wore shot so i drill it an put a 1/4 -20 bolt throut it an its still holding 3yrs ago an mows 3 ac a week
