Belt replacement and adjustment JD 110 1965 model

Bought new belts for my J D 110 (primary and secondary) as a set. They are John deere belts . Can"t figure out what is going on with the primary belt, it seems to be too long. It is longer that the one that was on the tractor but it may not be the right belt. Can anyone shed some light on this. Part numbers match for this tractor with serial number between 15000- 40000. ( A29267). Thanks for any help.

M44151 is a washer used under the headbolt of a Tecumseh engine! Correct secondary belt # is M44121.

Are you posting A29267 as a Deere # for the belts? That does not come up as a valid Deere # at jdparts.com.

Here are the dimensions of the correct primary belt, M40015:

Weight 0.31 LBS 0.14 Kg
Belt Section SPECIAL
Effective Length 35.130 IN
Width 0.656 IN
Thickness 0.00 IN
Angle 26
