Gravely Tractor engine

Gravely built the early ones, then clark-studebaker bought out gravely, for a while, then they went to kohler. IIRR

All Gravely T-heads are Gravely designed. They are a bigger bore/stroke version of the original one wheel model D's engine, first around in the late 1910's.

However, Studebaker did buy out Gravely, like Dave said, so I guess you could say the engines are Studebakers!

The other folks are correct, Gravely did build their own engines. In fact I have been told that the first engines were modeled after the Indian motorcycle engine. They were tough.
