I worked at an Exmark dealership for a little while. They came in to the service department a lot less than the other brands we carried (Scag, Gravely, Husqvarna.) You can still destroy a good mower, though, in 1200 hours. That's a lot on a zero turn. Has it been well maintenanced? What engine does it have, Kohler or Kawasaki? Is it a Lazer Z? I have been around nearly every zero turn out there, but ExMarks seem to be one of the best, and one of the few I would consider if I was shopping. It comes with 6 good sets of replacement blades and he will get me all the filters I want "at cost".. How well would these work on slopes, like around my lake and front slope, by the rd (30 Degree slope)??? 30 Degrees is my LIMIT (on anything)..!!!! I"ve pulled my neighbors zero turn out of the pond a few times. Never did any harm to it, but once both drive wheels where in the wet muck, it wouldn"t move without some help. [Reply]  [No Email]

Was it used by the owner or hired hands. Was it well maintaned or used hard? The commercial mowers are built better than the others, but it can still be wore out through neglect You can buy a new Cub Cadet zero turn for about the same price and its guarnteed for three years.
