Have a Simplicity ride on 725 trying to find serial number on it went on Simplicity sites and could not find any thing on it thank you Paul

The numbers were probably on a sticker behind the seat.
What do you want the serial number for?

The model and serial numbers are on stickers on most models which are on the frame but are prone to fade out or washed off with pressure washing. Model number will get you closer than serial number but try looking for the model number for the engine and go to the manufacturer
website. You can get pretty close providing someone hasn"t replaced,upgraded the engine. Simpletractors website has some pretty good model crossreference tables that could help also.

I think that model was only made in 1962 and 1963.
Some have paint info on a sticker on the underside of the hood.
