BS 6 hp - Oil Capacity?

I bought my Troy-bilt tiller at an auction, so I have no manual for it. I changed the oil for storage, but I am not sure how much the crankcase holds. The tiller is a Super Bronco, the engine a 6 hp overhead valve. Does anyone know what the capacity is?

Thanks,
Tim

If it doesn't have a dipstick and you have to pour the oil directly into the oil pan, the oil level should be near the top of the filler hole.

When you pour the oil into the filler hole, keep adding oil until it runs out. If you stop when the oil first comes to the top of the hole, there might be room for more oil, so check it, until you are sure it is filled correctly. cold weather makes the oil run slower. Works for me!
Note: This doesn't apply, if you have a dip-stick and tube! Believe it or not--i have gotten engines where the owner poured in the oil, to the top of the dip-stick tube! MMMM
