I don"t remember where I heard it (possibly on here???), but I know someone said not to put a rear tiller on the 82 series cub cadets because it will trash out the rear aluminum housings. I sure would like to put mine on my 782 though. It"s not like I"m tilling 40 acres a year. Just my little garden and maybe the in-laws once in the spring. Its a pretty nice 782 though, I"d hate to crack a housing. I considered swapping out the alum rear with a cast one from an old parts 1650 I have. Would it be worth the effort? Or would I be ok with the alum one for the little bit I do. BTW, buying another old cub is NOT AN OPTION!! (wifey made that point very clear, I already got 5
