John Deere 1023 E

These are among JD"s current offering for sub compact tractors. Does anyone have any thing as far as a review on them? Good, bad, ugly or indifferent? Thanks

I was anxious to see both new models as I have John deeres. They are both very nice compact tractors, but having a 2006 jd 2305 I couldn"t see any advantage in trading. If looking for a compact tractor today as I was in 2006 I"d have one already. If anything like my 2305 which they seem much nicer I wouldn"t hesitate to buy one.

Dieselrider-

I saw this one and the 1026R the lsst time I visited JD for parts. I was sort of drooling over these but am trying to figure out how to justify buying one what with 2 kids in college yet. I currently own a 425 gasser but always wanted a diesel. I would love to use it for lawn mowing and blowing snow. It looks like they off a sort of intermediate tire on these that you could use for mowing and blowing snow. Not an ag tire but not a turf tire either.

Anyways, I'm thinking of sneaking the pamphlet from the dealer inside of one of my wife's People magazine sort of like Ralphy from A Christmas Story putting the BB gun ad inside of his mom's copy of Look magazine. Maybe she'll get the hint and see things my way!
