how to put snow blade on cub cadet 122

I got the blade mounted with out tooo much of a hassel but the handle is anothe problem. There is a bracket just past the pivot point on the front mounting bar. it is on the plate that goes to the blade. the bracket is about 3 inches from the pivot point. i made a bar to go from the bracket to the mower deck handle to raise an lower the blade. i clamped it to the handle. it does raise it!!!!!!! BUT IT IS VERY VERY VERY HEAVY. i think if i move the bracket closer to the blade it might be better. I HOPE. ANY HELP THANK YOU FOR YOUR EARLIER REPLYS.

This is what you need, item A. I would think if you checked with the Cub Cadet collectors you may just find something, I have this helper spring on my 125, it really helps.

There is a assist spring thtt goes on this.. It is mounted inside the frame and under the seat area. It actuallly also helps life the rear attachments too.

thanks a lot they both helped, but the picture from Old Roy is the one. that is it exactly thanx a bunch. sorry it took so long to get back to this site but i had a few problems. I have everything but the long rod and the flat plate that attaches to the lift handle. i am pretty sure i can make those. the blade is mounted an it is the same blade. looks like i need to make a couple of shoes for the blade to ride on also.Thanx again

Take the rod from the lifting handle and move it down a hole. I had this problem the other day on my 102.
