putting snow blade on cub cadet 122

I took the mower off without too much trouble. Idon't think i have all the parts to mount the snow blade to the tractor. Do i mount it to carriage that the mower deck was mounted to? it does not seem to fit that way? the two long bars on the side of the blade attachment slide onto a bar that holds the foot rest. the front bolts to a bar that mounts through the front of the tractor. I think? (thats how it have now.) i have a bar from a sears snow blade to raise an lower the blade.

I am not familiar with a 122, but the blade for my 124 clips in the same notches that the 'mule drive' (pulleys and frame that hold and drive the deck) hangs from at the front. Then the stabilizer bars reach back under to the bar welded between the footrests.
I think I have the factory lift linkage, so it will be different from yours. Its basically a bar from the pin on the arm behind the blade back to a bracked clamped to the deck lift handle.

The 122 did not use the fast hitch mounting that the 124 used. You need to take off all mower parts. The blade should have a front mounting part that bolt on where the mower mule drive came off of. There is 2 bolts on each side, these can be a bi@@h to put on. Good luck.

I now have the snow blade mounted on the front of the tractor, an on the round bar cross piece that holds the foot pegs. there is a bracket on a flat peice just past the pivot point, where it mounts on the tractor this peice also connects to the blade, i have a bar bolted to that bracket, then to the handle that raises an lowers the mower deck, i had to make that part, BUT IT IS VERY VERY VERY HEAVY TO LIFT. i think if i move the bracket towards the blade an away from the pivot point it will be a little easier I HOPE. THANK YOU FOR YOUR REPLYS. ANY MORE WILL HELP. THANKS AGAIN
