Wheel Horse Tractor/Snow Thrower

Blower will fit/work on tractor, although in deep/wet snow you may be down in eng hp if eng getting tired.

If just a bare tractor & no mower deck you'll need the quick-tac mount for front of tractor or if no quick-tac on tractor check frame rails for 3/8" holes approx 1" back from front of tractor,if rails have holes you can use a long 3/8" rod/threaded rod thru blower arms to hold blower to tractor. The quick-tac was part of the accessory "finishing kit" that included the mule drive to power mower when mower not included with tractor when new, many wh tractors were sold this way by dealers & you bought attachments as accessories along with extra accessory "finishing kit" needed to connect/power attachment.

As an after thought, you might want to check condition of pto clutch plate lining & clutch bell bearings,if either of above worn blower will slow down/stall in deep/wet snow due to slippage as blower load 2-3x mower deck load on pto,you might also want to also consider making a 5"x10" L bracket out of steel/aluminum & bolting to blower arm to cover blower pulley/belt as wet snow tends to belch/puke out of discharge & drop on pully/belt causeing additional slippage when blowing snow to the right.

i have a 800 auto ,got it running once i found out it had a shout off on fuel line ..starts runs strong but i can not get it to move . pushed and pulled everything i see ,what am i missing. deck has been removed.this thing has the snow blower and a cab.

If you haven't done so already, check that eng/trans belt not broken or belt off trans pulley, check that woodruff key that connects trans pully to input shaft not sheared missing,if you can roll tractor by pushing/pulling with eng off, check around on transaxle, there's probably a manual tow valve on same that my be in the freewheel position allowing you to roll tractor when eng not running, you shouldn't be able to roll tractor if tow valve not in freewheel position, also check trans fluid level, may be low or filter plugged(if trans has).

If trans has ext disk type parking brake, check that brake caliper not frozen in applied position due to rust/dirt.Check woodruff keys on both rear axles that connect wheel hub to axle that they aren't missing/sheared,if either key sheared/missing tractor won't move, both keys must be present/intact.

You might also try going to website below with tractor mod/sn,see if operators manual, parts list & trans service manual avail as a free download.
