Husqvarna push mower

I'm looking for another push mower, I've got a Honda but
want one with a bag. Honda wants more for a bag than I can
buy the self-propelled Husqvarna for. Any thoughts, are the
Huskys a good mower?

I was in the market for a mower a few years ago and Husqvarna was one of the mowers I looked at. I also looked at a Craftsman and determined it was the same mower as a Husqvarna. In short, Husqvarna does not make their own lawn mowers. They go to another manufacturer, and rebadge their product. Depending on the model you are considering, the Husqvarna may be a good choice. Just be aware of what you are looking at. I eventually purchased an Ariens, and have been satisfied with it.

Husqvarna and Poulan and Craftsman are made by American yard products. I believe they are made in South Carolina,They are a good mower for the money.

Hondas are expensive, I'm still using a Honda HR 214 I bought new in 1989, Please consider from 1989 until Thanksgiving 1994 we lived in Florida (mow grass 11 months a year) with an oversized city lot from 1994 until May of 1999 we lived in Tennessee where we mowed March-November and had a big yard (almost an acre). It still doesn't use oil and starts on the first or second pull. I've replaced plugs, air filters and one throttle cable that got crimped when we moved, a blade (big rock) and a bag. Should think about replacing wheels as the bearings are getting loose from wear.

Well, actually Husqvarna currently owns the company, and they build mowers that say Craftsman on them. In addition to Poulan, Weed Eater and many other names.

Before that it was Electrolux and before that it was Roper and AYP.

I work in a dealership that sells Husqvarna products. Their push mowers are not particularly troublesome. At least not as long as the customer keeps good fresh gas in them.

$20 wouldn't be a bad price if you can find someone with one they don't need.

I have a few but not sure how close you are to Michigan.

i have gotten along fine with ones i have sold,till have four left as you might geuss i am dealer for that line and dixon,country clipper etc

t.r.k. isn't Electrolux still the mother company of all of them? I was in the history of Electrolux several weeks ago and these companys are owned by Electrolux.
