| The eng was made in 83,the 502 prefix in tractor mod# means same was built by murray.

| Hi Joe, thanks for the information. I just purchased the tractor last week for $75.00. For absolutely NO reason. Although I do presenly have in use a 1987 Sears tractor that was purchased new and has done a lot of work mowing lawns. This one I won't bother to use the mowing deck, just use for towing a trailer around the yard. Make some repairs and paint. Thanks , Murray
