Ihave a bush hog zt18 w/a18 2cyl. I have tried every thing !! the eng. shuts down like you turned the key off.,sometimes it will run for 20 mins. or more,some times less Ihave bypassed all, checked fuel to , it will start right up and go another ??? until it dies again. hoping for ides. | Might check your high speed shut down solenoid, it could be loosing power or the magnet in the solenoid may be getting weak and letting go when it gets hot.

| I have a B&S Vanguard engine in a White GT2050 that has a circuit breaker that gets hot and cuts out. When it cuts out, I have no power to the engine, starter or lights. After a couple of minutes it cools down and I have power again. I replaced the circuit breaker about 5 years ago for the same problem and have one on order now.
