The blades on my 111 are always spinning. I can see and hear that the PTO clutch is functioning. I adjusted to .013" per the manual. Even with the clutch disengaged the PTO is still spinning the blades.
Can the clutch stick like on a tractor? Wouldn't the plates of the clutch be stuck together if that was the case? Why is this happening!?! |

| That is what I thought at first, but when you flip the switch you can see and here the clutch engage. |

| | Can you check the center bearing/bushing? If the switch is off, you should be able to spin the blades but the crankshaft should not rotate. The pulley on the pto clutch should rotate without the crankshaft rotating. Could be the bearing is froze or the bushing is worn out. |

That looks like the winner. I pulled the clutch this morning and the lower bearing is froze up. I bought only the lower one because the top one looked like a pain to fix and the clutch came off really easy. |

| Sounds like the clutch always has power which it is not supposed to. Check wiring and switch. |
