I got to wondering about it, and wondered what the biggest dia styeel wheeled garden tractor there was made, and what brand. And at what time.

To be honest, I don't understand your question.

Are you talking about 2 wheel or 4 wheel garden tractors?

Are you talking about wheels that are totally steel?

Or are you talking about tractors with steel rims that have inflated tires on them?

In addition, what is the axle rated to carry and do the tires match that rating?

This looks like an all-aluminum trailer. Is it?

How thick is the wood deck and what species of wood did you use?

Whats the weight of the trailer as it sits now?

The only "garden tractor" I have seen or heard of with steel wheels like used on the F20, Regular, John Deere A and such were 2 wheeled garden tractors, the 4 wheeled garden tractors did not really come into production until the early 50s and by that time steel wheels were not used..they all used rubber tired, steel rimmed wheels....

Sorry. I thought all would understand that I was referenceing 2 wheel walk behind garden tractors on steel wheels.

I had a Viking and 5 or 6 StandardTwins. Their steel wheels were about 3-feet in diameter. I liked them since they were all gear drive with a multi-disc clutch that ran in oil and a pto. Hal
PS: I still hve the moldboard plow off the Viking and I use it on my Wards garden tractor.
I paid $15.00 for the Viking in 1960 and it was made in 1936.
