We have a what I was told is a 1937 Sears Handiman
R-T tractor. It is in fair shape with the motor rebuilt about 15 years ago. We need sell from the estate. Anyone know the value ?

Probably worth $200.00, but you can advertise it for more to see if anyone is interested. A person needs to be in pretty good shape to handle one of those old walk behinds. Hal

Bruce, you were not specific, but a 1939 Handiman R-T should be a riding tractor. And a 1937 model should have steel wheels. Try http://www.vgtcoa.com/ they have a bunch of photos on their home page and shows one late model Handiman on rubber, and one supposedly 1939 Handiman on steel which would be about right for the time period. When a lot of people hear Sears garden tractor, they think of the old walk behind tractors, but Sears sold small riding garden tractors back then, and even at one time sold farm tractors. If yours is a riding tractor it should be worth several dollars to someone who collects old riding mowers and tractors.

thanks.
This is not a walk behind tractor.
The tractor is on rubber and is belt driven.
