Carb was running lean. Half throttle and half choke. Went to ebay and bought a nut driver to adjust the jets. The jets look like a torx screw. $7.95 for tool and shipping from ebay. A tiny turn to the left on hi jet and it runs like a champ. No new carb needed.

Sometimes they are worth the effort, and sometimes, not.

With today's gas, 2 cycle engines have lots of carb issues and gas line issues.

I have a husky varnie 4 cycle weed eater. Love it, but weighs a ton. Has more horses than any weed eater I've ever used.

Wish someone made a 4 storke chain saw.

Bet that Husqvarna has a Honda engine in it. As far as I know, all the 4 cycle Husqvarna trimmers have honda engines under the cover. Tough engines that will take a lot of abuse.

Yep, heavy too.

I'm sure it will last not only my life time, but my son's life time. However he will have to pry it from my dead hands first.
