Ford LGT-14H Hydro Question

I just got this tractor, and i was wondering where do i check the hydrostatic transmission fluid at ? and does it just take a normal hydraulic fluid or anything special?
Thanks

There is a plug with a dipstick at the very rear of the hydro unit; lift the seat to see it. Keep filled to within 1/4" of full mark.
According to the manual, the hydro/differential unit is filled with 6 qts of 20W engine detergent oil at the factory. "These drive units are filled for life unless leakage occurs".
BTW, I hope there is some kind of subframe for that heavy duty loader/backhoe; the frames are pretty "flimsey" on these tractors.

Thanks for the info, i just bought this tractor the other day, that is the first thing i was concerned about is the weak frame design, but this loader/backhoe is factory (brantly) and there is a sub frame that goes from the hoe to the loader. The pipe frame is already braced up, but i only paid $350 for the hole tractor, loader and backhoe, so i don't care if i ever need to replace the tractor in the future because i just bought this for the loader/backhoe.
Thanks again, i will check the fluid. I just noticed it seemed a little "sluggish" so i wanted to get everything checked out before i do any damage.

I still can't believe i got it, the ol thing runs great, i am now doing a couple modifications to it, i am putting on a bigger hydraulic pump, and i am putting on power steering.
The backhoe works great, it's amazing how well it digs, I am working in a looser dirt so i put on the bigger bucket, i haven't tried it yet, but i am hoping that it's going to dig pretty good.
The loader works really well, it moves dirt great and it can even reach into the back of a pickup.
I'll post more when i get my modifications done
