any difference between jd 214 and 216

anyone know the difference between JD 214 and 216 models could parts be interchanged. looking to get deck off 216 for my 214 any help would be appreciated. If you know where i could find some parts would be great

Same frame, same mounting system, same deck. Everything is the same except the engine.

They are very much alike, if the same year, but there are several differences between years. Motor mounts etc.

Most 314 were hand lift 316 hydraulic lift.Early 316 with the single cylinder Kohler were like the
314 but late models with the twin cylinder Onan were similar to the 318.Early 316 had the Dana rear,late models had the peerless rear
