tecumseh old 7hp oil out breather hose

oil out breather hose on old 7hp Tecumseh,replace breather valve body and oil is at correct level. presume valves worn,cause not getting right pressure to activate the valve corrct to shut off oil. never messed with thes old tecumsh motors much. head gasket bad would it make it do this. figure its not wortt messing with is it

Check that you don't have breather valve body installed upside down or valve reassembled incorrectly,hh/h70 eng have a drain hole in body that MUST face down towards towards oil pan/sump other wise case can't drain & oil blows out breather hose.

joe; yea i doubled checked that and the two tiny holes are facing down. It has to run for few minutes before she starts spitting really strong out it. when it came in said had oil leak,when first tried looked at it you could see where it had been leaking breather body. took off the old and the gasket was shot, i just thought be quick fix,i just install whole new assembly and its shooting oil out the hose big time. been doing this for some time i am thinking now. when i called him on it story changed,you know how stories are. my geuss be rings,headgasket blown internally. i just don,t think this engine is worth to much time is it .i just got new leakdown tester guess need try it. help any way you can thanks rick
