For the purposes of this discussion, I suppose that we should all be on the same page here when it comes to steering that is not done with a wheel.

Tiller steering consists of an arm that is moved left or right to make the tractor turn.

LEVER Steering consists of a vertical arm that is pushed or pulled forward and backward to make the tractor steer left or right.

Many people confuse the two types.
