Gravely rotary plow control

First attempt today using a rotary plow on my Gravely L. It was awesome but hard to control. Pulled hard to the left. I was working loose garden soil. How do you counteract that left turn action?
From videos I've seen the front right wheel rides in the trench of new broke ground. Does the wheel ride against the vertical surface of the previously worked trench? Gotta be a trick to it.

I believe one wheel rests against the furrow. We always started with a backfurrow, and threw toward the middle. The front set of wheels can also be shifted right and left, that might help with the pull you are talking about. I always thought that the best use of the gravely rotary plow was to fill your shirt pockets with dirt, without bending over, to pick any up!

The shaft that sticksd out of the top of the rotary plow gearbox MUST be tilted at about a 45 degree angle to the left as you stand at the controls. After adjustment, if it still pulls left it needs to tilt farther to the left. You will know when its correct as it won't pull left or right at all.

Nice looking tractor. Your rotary plow gearbox is different from the two I have. Mine also have a cresent slot near where it bolts to the tractor for adjusting the angle. It looks like yours doesn't have that. I'm guessing yours is newer.

Yep this is newer model, still got the decal on the shield. It has 2 sets of bolt holes on the mtg flange instead of the crescent slot. I found operating manuals online today at oldgravelys.net.
