Garden Tractor plowing

Hey guys, I got a john deere 110 round fender that I am wanting to plow with. Just wondering if anybody plows with one? What are the pros and cons? What size plows do you pull?

If you don't plow with a 110 what do you plow with and how does it work for you?

Go to weekendfreedommachinesDOTcom and search on plow or plow day or plow specialfor lots of information.

You will most likely want to get a sleeve hitch attachment and a sleeve hitch plow. Wheel weights and lug tires help a lot. Brinley is a popular plow make. The plows usually run eight, ten, or twelve inches.

Roger Henning on that board has a round fender 110 that's orange with an old sears three point hitch and sears three point plow that works nicely.

You need to get what Steve suggested plus tire chains. Here's my Wards tractor and the 8-inch plow is off an old Viking walk behind garden tractor I bought in 1960. Hal

I have a Cub Cadet 128 with a Planet Jr. plow behind it. That is off of a walk behind tractor. It is a 6.5 inch plow, and does a good job. Tire chain on the left wheel helps and or get bar/lug tires. I incorporated a linear actuator to raise the plow, rather that lift arm. ...or known as an electric lift. Kind of like an electric seat motor, but much more powerful;. These little tractor do a good job. It pulls easy. Often wanted to find a larger plow.
