hydraulic lift cyclinder for mower deck

I'm in need of a fairly short (10 " closed or less) hydraulic cylinder with only a 4-6 inch lift range. THis is for a homemade lift I'm working on, needs to only lift abour 800 lbs.
I was thinking that the lift cylinder from a lawn tractor would be about right.

I see cylinder on ebay all the time for the 118 and similar size JD mowers. Anyone know the dimension on one of these cylinders?

Check out the hydraulic cylinders on Surplus Center.com they have the dimensions listed.

Check the lawn tractor salvage guys. I bought three such cylinder from a Wheel Horse salvage guy. They are exactly what you want.
